Jurell Carter, known for his role as Nate Robinson in Emmerdale, has finally broken his silence on his character's shocking departure from the soap, calling for "justice" for Nate.
Carter made his debut as Nate in 2019, but his character mysteriously disappeared after taking up a new job in Shetland following the collapse of his marriage to Tracy Metcalfe.

Fans were left puzzled when Nate's only form of communication was a text message confirming he had arrived safely. The arrival of the mysterious John Sugden, who was the last person to have contact with Nate, only added to the intrigue.
The truth about Nate's fate was revealed during the Valentine's limo crash episode. Amy Wyatt discovered his body at the bottom of a frozen lake after her car ended up in it, reports the Express.
The sight of Nate's body, wrapped and chained, suggested that his death was no accident. As viewers eagerly awaited answers, suspicion began to fall on John Sugden.
In the hour-long episode aired on Thursday (April 10), the circumstances surrounding Nate's final moments were unveiled. He sustained injuries in a barn fire, and John Sugden tried to rescue him by giving him an injection.
Unfortunately, Nate had a severe adverse reaction to the injection, which led to his sudden collapse and death. A distraught John then wrapped Nate's body and disposed of it in the lake.
Recent episodes suggest that John may have a "hero complex", causing harm to patients without their consent before stepping in to "saves" them.

Emmerdale star Jurell Carter, known for his role as Nate, left viewers in shock with a storyline twist that saw his character entangled in multiple dramatic incidents: tampering with Chas' medication, setting up Ella Forster, instigating Jacob's allergic reaction, and culminating in the heart-wrenching accidental death of Nate.
Post airing of the gripping episode, Jurell took to Instagram, posting a video featuring Nate's demise and titling it "Justice for my boy Nate", accompanied by broken heart emojis to express his sentiment.
Fans took to social media expressing the same feelings as Jurell, stating that it was unfair that Nate was killed off from the show.
One fan wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: "Justice for Nate Robinson," along side multiple sad face emojis. Another fan agreed expressing there sadness as they penned: "Gutted they killed Nate off."
While another angry fan stated: "I can’t watch this anymore. Started watching when I was a kid with the family but I’m officially done."
